Compton Mackenzie had many different haircuts during his career. He became famous as a talented writer, politician, publisher, autobiographer, screenwriter, croquet player and science fiction writer. However, the Scottish writer, cultural commentator, raconteur and nationalist was particularly known for his extradordinary fashion sense and his livable character.
